Depends on which release you switch to.  I can't speak for RHEL, but I
was running FC5 (2.6.16-1.2111) just fine with ivtv/lirc/video4linux all
installed from ATRPMs and configured to run correctly with MythTV.
However, I now have audio problems (ie no audio) after my next reboot
(some 41 days after getting it all to work in the first place).  It
probably didn't help, that I re-booted to 2.6.16-1.2133 at the same
time, but now that I'm back on 2111, I still have no ivtv audio in the
.mpg stuff....  My other .mp3 files and older saved .mpg s play just fine.
