Sorry, no. It's a fixed name the driver is looking for.

As I understand it there is no official permission, but unofficially 
it's OK. And for the record: ivtvdriver.org is hosted in Germany. 
Should anyone object I can always remove it again and extract it from 
their own drivers. But that would be customer-unfriendly from them.

So I'm taking my chances here.

What would be really nice of course is if Hauppauge themselves would 
distribute an archive containing the firmwares.
