Hi,

It appears that I've joined that special group of people who seem to have lost sound with the 0.6.x series of drivers.  I have previously had things working well with the 0.4 series drivers, but a kernel upgrade required me to move to 0.6, where I lost sound on recordings.  I have noted that powering the system down for some time has helped the problem.  On power up, sound is back, but it disappears after some time (sometimes in mid recording via myth).  The last time I tried a lengthy power down, I didn't get sound back on restart.  I've noted this with both 0.6.2 and 0.6.3.

Here's some details for my card (I hope I'm not forgetting anything):

Module load.  (I don't have any module parameters specified currently):

I've upgraded to the latest firmware files as far as I can tell:

305dba74bbe5905447add8883f3ecb68  v4l-cx2341x-dec.fw
d85cb08382395390dc95ac6ebc2205f9  v4l-cx2341x-enc.fw
0661f8b2693fe3123e6234557353eacc  v4l-cx2341x-init.mpg
99836e41ccb28c7b373e87686f93712a  v4l-cx25840.fw
34d213394328adf78e2fc9f1411691b0  v4l-pvrusb2-24xxx-01.fw
3b7288416144467369ed2b5b10cf931d  v4l-pvrusb2-29xxx-01.fw

Does anyone have any ideas on what to try here?

Thanks,
Jason
