I've got it installed now but I don't really know how to check and see if it is working. I tried using TVTime but it says "ivtv: invalid argument. Cannot open capture device /dev/video0". This started happening after I messed with the modprobe.conf settings. Note that when I tried messing with them and they didn't work, I put them back to what they were and now I'm still getting the error.
