I am using mythtv 0.19 and the tuner is working very well with that.  I have 
some problems setting the correct sizes for the capture, since mythtv is 
designed for NTSC but I have a PAL card.  The width/height ratio is only 
correct when I use full resolution (which is fine for me).

That was the root of the problem.  Once I set some PCI setting, can't remember 
which, from 32 to 64 the problem was solved and I am now a happy owner of two 
working tuners.
