Hello,

I'm trying to get a pvr-500 card working on a server running Redhat enterprise 
server
However  every time I load the ivtv module the machine hardlocks and must be 
powered 
off/restarted

I've tested this card in another machine (gentoo 2.6.16) and the ivtv driver 
(0.6.3) 
worked perfectly. Unfortunately I don't have a 3rd machine to test the card in.


Here are the stats on the machine
Dual xenon 2.8Ghz (I've tried with Hyperthreading on and off)
8GB ram
Kernel 2.6.9-42.0.2.ELsmp (the most up to date RHES kernel)
I'm trying to use ivtv-0.4.6

The card is inserted into a PCI-X slot (which I have confirmed with hauppauge 
will work)
I've even forced the slot to run at 66Mhz without luck.


Any help would be appreciated.
