Hello

I'm trying to get a PVR350 running with FC5 using the wilsonet.com
MythTV notes. I've installed a 2.6.17 kernel and ivtv 0.7.1. I've set
a pal=I option in modprobe.conf

I can plug a Nikon camera into the s-video input and get it to work
(albeit in b/w, not colour) using mplayer -vo xv -ao null /dev/video0
so I know the card is basically working (I turned off sound because of
dropped frames).

However, I can't get a TV input to work. My TV says that BBC1 is
channel 39 where I am. Well, I've figured that the default us-cable
frequencies set by ivtv-tune are no good. There isn't a uk frequency
map, so I used europe-west. This says it's set 615.25MHz. I've
googled to check this and it seems a plausible value. However, all I
get is 'snow', which varies as I shift my aerial. I should add that
this (indoor) aerial works with my TV. I'm using ivtvctl -p0 to
select the tuner (but have tried the others too).

I'm rather out of ideas as to what to try next. Can anybody suggest
something? Is the B/W picture on the s-video significant to this
tuning issue? One other factor that may or may not be relevant is
that I've not attempted to get the card to run using Windows.
