Using mandriva 2007.0 with 2.6.18.2 from kernel.org I believe that the driver itself compiles correctly as seen here:

MODPOST but from here on in I get nothing but errors related to v4l2-ctl. Do I in fact need to "make v4l-checkout", "make 4vl-update", and "make v4l" etc to get this to compile properly as stated in README.1ST? Could someone post full instructions on building this in excruciating detail for newbies like me. The full output of this failed attempt is attached in the txt file. Any help anyone could provide would be greatly appreciated.
