Hello All, I was merely watching this thread until i recently built a new system with an AMD X2 processor and immediately started having the trouble outlined in this thread, i.e. all modules load fine and dmesg output is good, first TV play of MythTV is fine, then 1000 ms.............firmware......blah The system is using an Abit k9n Ultra and the os is Debian Etch. Both Hauppuage PVR 150 & 350 show identical behaviour. Both 0.71 and 0.80 if the ivtv drivers tested, same outcome. Powernow disabled in kernel, problem persists.
Is there an X2 specific problem that needs to be ironed out? shame to run such good hardware as a uni-processor box :) I just wanted to know if there's a train of though of what to debug before i spend a load more time chasing ghosts.
