I have just rebooted my pc and I am getting a similar error when my system restarts. Everything was working perfectly until tonight. I am currently running FC6 with all updates, ivtv 0.8.1 and kernel version 2.6.18-1.2849.fc6 . I have two pvr-350's and one pvr-500 in my system. I have tried using options ivtv newi2c=0 in /etc/modprobe.conf and that has not helped out. I tried switching the order of my cards, but the one which does not get detected still did not get detected. I also tried to go back to ivtv 0.8.0 and that results in different errors when my system boots. Any help will be appreciated. I hope my card didn't magically go bad. It is less than a year old.
