I loaded the ivtv 0.4.8 yesterday trying to get a second pvr 150 to work. I noticed similar results regarding usability of the box. Audio was choppy and the video stuttered but if I recorded that show and played it back separately it was fine as long as another stream was not being recorded. Additionally I noticed that I lost usability of my remote which is run through the included Hauppauge IR blaster for a PVR 150 as soon as the card began capturing video.
I backed out the 0.4.8 and went to 0.4.7 and found that everything worked except my new PVR 150. I am using kernel 2.6.15 under Knoppmyth R5C7. I still do not have the second PVR 150 working it shows it is loading but I only get snow when I switch to that card which is using the rf input to get it's signal. I know signal is good as it works fine in the TV. The new card shows a 26132 encoder, Rev f1b2. I can include the ivtv ouput but I need to get to another box to do that...
