Im having the same problems as you Brian, same card, same versions of kernel and ivtv. I thought I tried everything but after reading John Dreschers last post I decided to remove all splitters and input the coax directly into the bottom input only and although I the picture now has horiziontal lines whenevever there is a lot of motion, I dont think I would consider the picture "snowy" anymore. Im hoping with some tweaking I can get this picture to what I would consider quality.
