Hi folks,
I have a small problem here with my PVR-500 MCE. ( please don't be
confused with video0, 1, or 2, since I have a Terratec 250 installed
also which is /dev/video0 )
I am installing ivtv / mythtv / linux for about a week now, and finally
got a quite working configuration.
But, I now only have one tuner, over which I can only configure the
first /dev/video1 . the /dev/video2 is not affected by tuning commands
when set to tuner 1
Iam using the ivtv version coming with ubuntu 6.10. Here is the output
of ivtvctl -n -d /dev/video1,
~$ ivtvctl -n -d /dev/video1
ioctl: VIDIOC_ENUMINPUT

Tuner : 0x00000000

Status : 0
While it shows both S-Video / Composit Inputs, only one Tuner is listed.
A while ago ( under Debian with some ivtv 0.3.x version of ivtv) it
showed two tuners.
Now my question is if this is a known problem, should I take another
firmware ( I downloaded it from the net and did not use the supplied
Hauppauge files ), or something like that ?
I hope I provided enough informations.
Thx in advance,
Maddi
