With the amp off. The first tuner had a good picture on most channels with a faint pattern of diagonal lines in mostly one direction on some channels that were no where the intensity with it on. On the other tuner I had only snow. With the amp on both tuners had the same picture on all channels but both had very visible diagonal lines in both directions such that diamond patterns were formed minus this pattern the picture was very clear. Also the patterns were different on each channel in intensity and shape. John
