Yay, finally a list that has the reply-to back to the list =P The only error messages I'm getting in dmesg or /var/log/messages are the "tuner type not set"
These started happening at approximately the same time as my problems (can't be 100% sure on that). Originally I had tuner=57 in my modprobes, which worked until the problem. It worked after the upgrade and switch as well. However I took it out when trying to troubleshoot, and everything stays the same. With no tuner line, tuner=57, and tuner=50, all produce the same dmesg/messages output, as well as the same "can't change channels" functionality.
