If you're new to Linux, its best to wait for your distribution to update to the new kernel. I've tried finding out when Fedora plans to release a 2.6.19 kernel, but no luck. It's generally around a month after the kernel is released, but any number of factors can delay that. If you want to build the new kernel yourself, you can, but then you're going to be building all your add-on modules as well. Here's a guide for Fedora for build a kernel : http://www.howtoforge.com/kernel_compilation_fedora Keith C _______________________________________________ ivtv-users mailing list [email protected] http://ivtvdriver.org/mailman/listinfo/ivtv-users
