Hi all,

I am finding ivtv-tune very useful, since I haven't gotten any of the
GUI tv programs to work with my PVR card, and switching channels has
been a hassle.

One question: how do you fine-tune the channels? On the cable system
in Amsterdam, for example, Nederland 1 is ostensibly at channel 11.
So,

$ ivtv-tune -d /dev/video1 -t europe-west -c E11
/dev/video1: 217.250 MHz

sorta works; the audio/video has a lot of static. Aaccording to the
cable company's channel/frequency table:

http://www.upc.nl/frequencies_gm.php?GM=0363

Ned 1 it is actually at 216,00 MHz. This solves that:

$ ivtv-tune -d /dev/video1 -f 216,00
/dev/video1: 216.000 MHz  (Signal Detected)

So I added "fine = -40" to the .xawtv entry:

[NED1]
channel = E11
fine = -40

but it has no effect:

]$ ivtv-tune -d /dev/video1 -x NED1
/dev/video1: 217.250 MHz

I suppose I could write a script to tune by frequency, but reinventing
the wheel etc etc...

Thanks for any suggestions...
