2) Although I do not have PAL I believe the answer is yes. 3) Ok the 9-pin mini-din is the fourth connector (see[0]) from the top (labeled VID/AUD) on the hauppage pvr 350. This will supply composite input and output via the cable (see [1]). I hope this helps...
