Thanks for your quick reply. As part of Jarod's instructions, I have
run the commands

# yum -y install ivtv-firmware
# yum -y install ivtv-kmdl-$KVER

And these seem to have been successful, since /lib/modules contains

Is there a configuration step for Fedora which I missed or did not
complete properly? I am looking at the files in /etc/udev/rules.d,
just a guess based on the hotplug info I am reading, but I have no
idea what to look at or fix.
