I recently upgraded my Gentoo / MythTV system to 2.19 and .20
respectively. After doing so, I noticed poor picture quality with the
recording on my PVR-250 card. I Googled and found out about the
temporal filter not being set to "0" in the 2.19 kernels. OK, fine.
this page
(http://www.ivtvdriver.org/index.php/Troubleshooting#If_you_have_ghosting)
suggests using "v4l2-ctl --set-ctrl temporal_filter=0" to set. However
I get this error message:

tv mythtv # v4l2-ctl --set-ctrl temporal_filter=0
unknown control 'temporal_filter'

More searching and I find that I'm missing lots of settings. See this
output:

tv mythtv # v4l2-ctl -l
                    brightness (int)  : min=0 max=255 step=1 default=127
value=127
                      contrast (int)  : min=0 max=255 step=1 default=63
value=63
                    saturation (int)  : min=0 max=255 step=1 default=127
value=127
                           hue (int)  : min=0 max=255 step=1 default=127
value=127
                        volume (int)  : min=0 max=63 step=1 default=63
value=63
                       balance (int)  : min=0 max=127 step=1 default=64
value=64
                          mute (bool) : default=1 value=1

And that's it. None of the other controls listed at
http://ivtvdriver.org/index.php/V4l2-ctl are there. Any ideas why?

Please cc me with any replies.

Thanks,

Drew
