Hi, You do not need to do anything.
I have had my PVR-350 connected to my TV this way for >2 years now. Did not need to do anything to activate the S-video output of the PVR-350. Audio also continues to run via the line-in of the soundcard so it is mixed with any audio generated by the PC. Regards, Stanley. > I'm hoping to connect my PVR-350 directly to a Samsung monitor (with > S-video input) when watching TV. This seems feasible but I'm wondering > how to turn this on after the connection is made. The manual suggests > that this is done using the Windows application.
