About 18 months ago, I spent a lot of time investigating the IVTV drivers, noting that they were parallel to, but not compatible with the V4L interferaces, as evidenced by the failure of V4L applications to fail to work with IVTV drivers and Hauppauge cards, whereas I could get IVTV aware applications to function in that scenario. First reality check: Was that original assessment correct? Currently, are the IVTV drivers now fully V4L drop in compatible? Or are we still on the divergence plan? TIA, Gary
