After a recent upgrade to my MythTV backend and adding a new video card, as
well as improving my cabling setup, I started seeing glitches in some, but not
all, recordings. It's easier to show them than to describe them:

http://home.comcast.net/~cvargas12/problem-example.jpg

It's a horizontal "tugging" of some lines, most visible at the edges of the
recordings. They seem to increase or decrease in number depending on the image
being displayed.

I don't think this is a cabling issue: I've reduced the number of feeds from
the single cable run, put a higher-quality splitter in place, the problem is
not consistent, and the TVs I have connected to the same cable feed do not show
the same glitches.

I guess it could be an increased heat issue with the addition of the video
card, but it's interesting that (again) it's not consistent.

I did upgrade to the latest ivtv drivers with no change in the problem.

Hopefully it will look or sound familiar to someone who can provide some ideas
on how to fix the problem. Thanks.
