Hi,
I have a problem with a gray flickering picture on my myth-box running
fc6 on a X64 AMD. And I have tried for some time to hunt down the
problem.
The situation is that have a working setup using ivtv version 0.8.2 (and
kernel 2.6.18) where everything runs as expected, and I have a setup
using ivtv version 0.10.3 (and kernel 2.6.20) not running as expected.
I am using pvr-350 as output for my X server, and when I am using the
latest version I get a flickering gray picture as soon as the ivtv
kernel module is initializing. No errors are reported by the modules and
everything runs fine except for the gray flickering picture.
When I add the option "pal=M" to the ivtv module, or run "v4l2-ctl -s 3"
the picture get steady but still gray (and invalid sized), so I suspect
it to be something regarding PAL/NTSC initialization.
Can anybody help me? any suggestions are very appreciated.
