I have the same problem, different card.

I have a box which is using the 0.9-version of the driver, which is
not experiencing these problems with the same card. But when my
workstation started using a different card (same brand/model), with
the 0.10.5, I've seen this being a problem.


It does not seem, however - that the problem occurs if I just cat
/dev/video0 > somefile.mpg ... And it may happen after 2 minutes, and
it may happen after 2 houres.

But when it happens; if I check dmesg, I have a DMA TIMEOUT, and I
can't get it to work without rebooting.
