I checked the version #'s, and it looks like I wasn't using the Mandriva
package installer for ivtv. I deleted 1.0.1 from my system, and I'm now
trying to install 0.1.0. However, it's saying it also needs to install
one of a list of what appears to be kernel packages like
kernel-linus-2.6.21, kernel-tmb-desktop and such. What are these things?
I just upgraded my kernel to 2.6.17-14 and I'd rather not upgrade again.

Can anyone give me more info on what these packages are and what they're
gonna do?
