That sounds easier and I tried using Axel's ATRPMS package but I am using the centosplus kernel for reiserfs support. When I try to install ivtv it fails with the message that I am missing pre-req vmlinuz-2.16.18-8.el5. I have is vmlinuz-2.6.18-8.1.15.el5.centos.plus and I also have vmlinuz-2.6.18-8.1.15.el5xen installed but not currently booted. I just selected the primary ivtv package and was letting yum figure out the rest. Is that correct?

Anyone installed the iVTV drivers on CentOS 5? Doesn't seem to be a lot of info on CentOS available. I thought it would be more stable than Fedora but it looks like there is more Fedora experience out there. I eventually want to install MythTV as well. Would I be better off starting with Fedora? If so 6 or 7? Here is the erro I got when I tried to do the make on the iVTV driver:

Yes, I'm running MythTV and IVTV on CentOS 5. Runs great. However I'm using Axel's ATRPMS packages for the standard kernel. I haven't tried compiling IVTV.
