I've recently bought an Hauppauge 150 card and am testing it to make
sure it's working fine. I've googled and tried to use every script
and command (using transcode, mencoder, ffmpeg) I could find and have
only come up with errors. The only way I can record is through "cat
/dev/video0 > ~/[file].mpg"  As an example, I used "mencoder tv:// -tv
driver=v4l2:width=640:height=480:fps=90:device=/dev/video0 -nosound
-ovc lavc -lavcopts vcodec=mjpeg -o cooking.avi" The result printout
is below:

success: format: 9  data: 0x0 - 0x0
