Looks like 0.10.6 is the one to use. ivtv 0.10.6 doesn't prevent DMA
errors, it just prevents the card from crashing. The erroneous DMA
transfers are retried to prevent loss of data.
Can you give a few sample lines from the log with the DMA errors?
Note that ivtv in the upcoming kernel 2.6.24 will have the same DMA
error fixes as 0.10.6.
