Hi, I am having trouble getting IVTV and Mythtv to play nice together on a Mandriva 2008 2.6.22 kernel install (64 bit). My output of dmesg suggests that I only have the stock version of IVTV. If I were to install and compile the latest download for 2.6.22 which appears to be 1.0.3, would my dmesg output relect that change to show the newer version? I just want to make sure that I am working with all the latest and greatest changes.
