Hello,

This post is directed towards a previous post on this
mailing list named "Remote Control PVR150 -SOLVED"
started Thu Dec 6 17:27:53 CET 2007 by a user named
'vb'.

A link to that discussion is here:

http://ivtvdriver.org/pipermail/ivtv-users/2007-December/007605.html

I am running openSuse 10.3 with a Hauppauge PVR 150
card with the 2.6.22.5-31-default kernel, the same
specs as 'vb' from the previous discussion.

I'm having the same problem as he was, namely that
when I do 'cat /proc/bus/input/devices' I do not see
my PVR150 card listed.

I read the discussion that followed, but cannot seem
to proceed with his solution. I am having trouble
following his instructions on fixing this:

"I got the opensuse lirc-kernel-module src rpm,
unpacked it, added the
patch supplied in the lirc mailing list, rebuilt it et
voila...success
when loading the lirc_i2c module."

Could you point me in the right direction here?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Tim
