Hi,
I've been trying to get this to work for about a month now. I have an old
installation of mythtv on slackware 9.1 running kernel 2.4.26. I am
upgrading because of the change to the TV listings, and I thought I would go
with one of the later kernels.
I have tried the following kernels:
2.6.21
2.6.22.6
2.6.22.7
2.6.22.10
2.6.22.11
2.6.22.14
2.6.23
2.3.23.12
All have the same sort of issue, so I suspect I'm missing an option in my
kernel config. I get just snow in the picture, no matter what channel I try.
I also have no audio. It seems the ivtv driver is not able to load the other
drivers, though I have not been able to figure out why. When I load them
manually, (ivtvfb, tuner, saa7115, saa7127, msp3400), they load fine but it
seems that ivtv knows nothing of their existence.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Another note, I also cannot get the remote to work using lirc. I have tried
0.8.2 and 0.8.3pre1. Suspect it may be related to an i2c problem...
