I am rebuilding my PPC machine, and figured it was a good time to try out
2.6.24 (rc6), since it's got ivtv support built-in.

I have not had a single problem enabling or compiling ivtv, ivtvfb, or
xf86-ivtv... but am running into a problem configuring X to use my PVR-350 as a
TV-out. The card works fine as I just pulled it out of a working machine (with
TV-out, etc).

The problem is that when I go to start X, it complains (the xorg.conf is a copy
of what was working in my x86 machine with a corrected BusID):

    (EE) No devices detected.

It is in fact there, as ivtv and ivtvfb are loaded, and lspci shows it:

0001:10:13.0 Multimedia video controller: Internext Compression Inc iTVC15
MPEG-2 Encoder (rev 01)
Subsystem: Hauppauge computer works Inc. WinTV PVR-350
Flags: bus master, medium devsel, latency 64, IRQ 53
        Memory at 84000000 (32-bit, prefetchable) [size=64M]
Capabilities: [44] Power Management version 2

Additionally, when I do X -scanpci, it fails to list my IVTV card. I'm running
Slackintosh 12.0 with X Window System Version 1.3.0
Release Date: 19 April 2007
X Protocol Version 11, Revision 0, Release 1.3

Anyone have any ideas?

- Rick
