Hi Richard, Thanks for updating me on the status of CC on the PVR-350.
I wonder what changed so much from 0.10.0 to 0.10.1 and above? I would offer Hans my computer as well, but I'm not good at compiling. Pre-compiled RPM's is as advanced as I get. The only way I know to fix captions it is to downgrade to kernel 2.6.18 and ivtv 0.10.0 This caused problems with my LIRC_serial remote. Luckily my roommate has a PVR-150 that we use in the master backend. I just installed Fedora 8 with kernel 2.6.23 and it is not fixed in there. Hans Verkuil was working on this on my computer before Christmas, he got it a little better, but not perfect. Here's my initial discussion http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/ivtv/users/36717 I am not a coder, so I can only offer my computer to test. - Richard _______________________________________________ ivtv-users mailing list [email protected] http://ivtvdriver.org/mailman/listinfo/ivtv-users Looking for the perfect gift?
