Hi. My PVR-250 seems to have died (nothing but grey snow). I seem to have a choice between a new PVR-150 using ivtv and an HVR-1600 using cx18. Digital TV isn't available in my area and isn't likely to be until 2011 (I'm in Canada), so it's only the analog stream that's of interest for now. Is the cx18 driver ready for use (analog-only)? Does the cx18 encoder perform better than the old one (which I found to be too slow to keep up with fast-action video, such as hockey)? Any other comments or suggestions?
