Hi,
I'm having a problem getting my HVR-1600 to work using the CX18 drivers. I've
compiled the drivers without any problems, but if I try to use the card using
cat /dev/video0 > test.mpg, it results in a video that is all black with a bit
of static. Using MythTV, I get a weird "Not ivtv driver" message, and I still
get the black screen with static. The firmware seems to be loaded correctly, as
seen in the following lines from dmesg.
Does anyone have an idea on what the problem could be?
thanks in advance,
Simon
