My understanding is that the TV-tuner built in mpeg compression will take care of compressing streaming videos to harddrive, right?wrong?
I ran into a situation where I saved 1 h of content and it ate up to 6GB of hd space. doing a simple file type look up on my file this is what I get: test: MPEG sequence, v2, program multiplex which dosnt differ very much from real compressed mpegs real.mpg: MPEG sequence, v1, system multiplex Does anybody know if this is the job of a PVR or the tv-tuner?
