Following up -
If I meticulously hand-tune the channels using ivtv-tune -f###.###, I can get
usable channels. Still not as crisp as I remember. The differences between my
hand-tuning and the us-cable standard are in the range of a few hundred kHz
with a maximum of 1.1MHz - but it's not a change to us-cable-hrc or
us-cable-irc).
It therefore appears to me to be some weird tuning issue, but I can't figure
out if it's the card or ivtv or some other wacky issue.
