I'm having trouble getting one channel to come in cleanly over my PVR-350
(using ivtv-tune -c# && cat /dev/video0 > test.mpg)

It's usually channel 5, sometimes 63 (us-cable). The other channels are
usually nice and crisp.

When the channel is bad, it comes in all wavy/flickery. A sample should be up
on Google Video:
    http://tinyurl.com/6mfnty (may or may not be working...)
   (Longer URL:  http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-7533649095502027426 )

Screen capture attached showing the waviness.

Specs and stuff below.

I'm using motherboard video for output, not the PVR-350's output.

I've had the card working in Windows for years, but just moved everything over
to Ubuntu. The card is not too hot.

If I switch the cable to go directly to the TV, the suspect channel comes in
fine (on the TV).

Thoughts?

Thanks,
Jonathan
