Would you open a terminal window and post the results of: dmesg | grep video You should see something similar to: [ 13.650000] cx18-0: Registered device video3 for encoder MPEG (2 MB) [ 13.700000] cx18-0: Registered device video34 for encoder YUV (2 MB) [ 13.700000] cx18-0: Registered device video26 for encoder PCM audio (1 MB) Thanks!
