Nope.  Your EEPROM invalid problem came back.  I believe this will be a
problem for you (the driver can't tell what analog TV tuner device you
have without reading the EEPROM).  Please try modprobing the tveeprom
module with debug=1 in advance of modprobing the cx18 driver.

With the latest driver, it's normal to see the firmware loaded *twice*
at module load (to overcome a hardware bug).  Here it was only loaded
once.
