Hi Scott - > Has this patch been sent to the developers of dvdauthor?
Not yet - but I only finished writing it last night ;-) > Is there any plan to incorporate it into dvdauthor by them? Well, we will see. I submited a patch back in 2005, but there wasn't a lot of enthusiasm to include it. I think the problem is that it constitutes quite a material change to a complex area of the code. My outline plan is to add a new command line switch to activate the new 'ivtv' behaviour. Maybe this will reduce the concerns. Do you know who the developers of IVTV are, by the way? > I'd hate to see the ivtv wiki become a > source of patches for other applications. I completely agree. I welcome any advice on how to handle this!
