hi, i recently did this while testing for other issues, and upgraded the 
kernel to 2.6.25 and i needed to emerge linux-headers of the same 
version to be able to build the ivtv package.

also as a side note, your /usr/include/linux comes from the 
linux-headers package
(if you want to check "#equery files linux-headers")
