========== Ross, Thanks for the response, you were right. I hadn't thought to check through the make logs. I did a make clear and another make with the logs going to a logfile. Sure enough, cx18 did not build. I did another make clear and then a make menuconfig and found that the module was not selected by default. It was also not named 'cx18' in menuconfig, but rather had the chipset numbers (CX23418) in the description. I did another make going to a logfile to verify that cx18 build, and it did. From there everything else went as described: make install, make unload, modprobe cx18, reboot. OpenSuSE 11.0 sees the card now on boot. It does not come up in the Yast TV Cards menu, however, mythtv-setup found and recognized it properly. Thanks! David
