So I've searched all over the net, and I'm basically stumped. I followed the directions here (http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/index.php/Hauppauge_HVR-1600) for compiling and installing the cx-18 driver for use with hvr-1600. I'm using ubuntu feisty.
