Unfortunately I have not received any replies on this, is there anyone
who can help me? It doesn't have to be the solution, I'd be very happy
with some tips on how to continue troubleshooting... Thanks!

Hello all,

I reported this problem to the list some time ago. Unfortunately I have not

There were a few replies, most regarding the ivtv version I was using
(1.4.0).
I have now upgraded to a newer kernel; tried both Gentoo's 2.6.30-gentoo-r4
and the vanilla 2.6.30.3 kernels and, unfortunately, the issue remains.

At least I am now on 1.4.1:
jer...@video ~ $ dmesg | grep ivtv | grep version
ivtv: Start initialization, version 1.4.1

I can still consistently trigger a reboot with this command.

Any ideas?

Thanks & best regards,
