I don't think any of these changes can have caused this. All changes are
either logging/comment changes, or they are related to PVR-350 MPEG decoder
support, neither of which has anything to do with the PVR-500.
I suspect it is elsewhere in the kernel and to find that will require a
proper (and time consuming) binary search.
You might also google first to see if anyone else has reported problems with
your chipset/motherboard. I.e., not ivtv-related but with pci devices and
reboots on your boards in general since kernel 2.6.23 and up.
