Given you're using an HVR-1900 I would assume you're trying to capture PAL, in which case you need to be capturing at 720x576 instead of 720x480 (which is for NTSC). That' why you're getting cropped video. You might be better off emailing the linux-media mailing list, since the HVR-1900 isn't an IVTV device. Devin -- Devin J.
