Hello, recently i got an AMD64 and installed a Hauppauge PVR 250. I compiled and installed ivtv-0.2.0-rc3c w/o problems. I used the firmware marked as prefered on the ivtv wiki page. I used Mythtv 0.16 as backend/frontend. Looking a live TV i got dropouts (Video stops to a still picture) every 2 seconds for about 1/2 second.
I tried various firmwares (older and betas) The latest beta seems to be a little better - the dropout are replaced by slowdowns and speedups of the video. The 0.3.2a driver does not make the things better. Looking at /var/log/messages i got a lot of DMA errors which fills up my log quickly to 1 GBytes in a few hours. Find a excerpt attached as ivtv-error.txt. Also i attached the loading of ivtv (using the preferred firmware). See attached file ivtv-load.txt Any hints what else i can do ? regards Petric
