Hi. I finally got the patch applied to my 2.6.8.1 kernel and ivtv compiled and installed. However, it seems ivtv is not loading.
Your thoughts would be welcome!! I did su make install depmod -ae modprobe ivtv exit checked cat /dev/video0 and the log in /var/log/messages without any results. Then I did su modprobe -r ivtv depmod -ae modprobe ivtv exit and the same... no results.
